About the role

We're looking for an experienced IT Delivery Manager to lead the successful delivery of strategic technology initiatives across our Customer Engagement Platforms team.

In this role, you'll lead cross-functional teams to deliver customer-facing digital solutions, including Salesforce CRM, web self-service platforms and mobile applications. You'll work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams and delivery partners to ensure projects are delivered safely, effectively and aligned to CSC's strategic priorities.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of customer-facing technology initiatives from planning through to implementation
  • Provide leadership and direction to the Customer Engagement Platforms team
  • Manage team workloads and delivery outcomes
  • Partner with stakeholders to plan delivery, manage risks and allocate resources
  • Apply Agile, Waterfall or hybrid methodologies to achieve successful outcomes
  • Ensure quality, security and operational readiness across all initiatives
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performing and continuous improvement culture
  • Communicate delivery progress, risks and key decisions to stakeholders
  • Build strong relationships across the business, vendors and delivery partners
  • Ensure solutions align with CSC standards, governance requirements and strategic objectives

What we’re looking for  

  • Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Project Management or a related discipline
  • 5+ years' experience in technology or IT/digital delivery roles
  • Experience leading development and delivery activities across multiple delivery methodologies
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional certifications such as PMI, PRINCE2, PSM or SAFe
  • Experience within financial services or a regulated environment
  • Knowledge of customer engagement platforms including CRM, mobile, digital experience or customer data platforms
  • Experience working with government procurement, risk or security standards
  • Experience leading complex technology delivery programs and project teams
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of developing and supporting high-performing teams
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels
  • Experience managing budgets, resources, risks and delivery outcomes
  • Knowledge of technology delivery lifecycles, software development practices and platform operating models
  • The ability to navigate ambiguity, solve complex problems and drive results in a fast-paced environment
