About the role

As the Test Automation Lead, you will be a hands-on automation expert responsible for designing, building and evolving CSC’s automation capability. You will develop scalable automation frameworks, create reusable automation assets, integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines, and establish standards that enable teams across CSC to adopt effective automation practices. Working closely with stakeholders and delivery teams, you will design and implement automation solutions across a range of technologies, define automation strategies, and promote best-practice automation frameworks and standards. 

In this senior role, you will combine technical expertise with leadership through influence, providing guidance, conducting technical reviews, mentoring team members, and supporting teams to adopt consistent automation practices across CSC. 

This role is ideal for an experienced automation specialist who combines deep technical automation skills with the ability to define strategy, implement solutions and influence adoption across multiple teams.

What we’re looking for

  • Full working rights with no restrictions
  • Relevant degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
  • ISTQB certification (Foundation or Advanced) preferred
  • Strong hands-on experience with enterprise automation tools such as Tricentis Tosca, Playwright, Selenium, UiPath or equivalent. Tosca experience and certification are highly regarded
  • Strong knowledge of test automation methodologies and scalable framework development 
  • Ability to mentor and guide teams on test automation best practices in collaborative environments 
  • Hands-on experience with API testing using tools such as TOSCA, Postman, REST Assured or SoapUI 
  • Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies, functional and non-functional testing practices, and quality engineering principles. 
  • Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps or similar. 
  • Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript or C# 
  • Experience with performance testing tools such as NeoLoad 
  • Exposure to cloud-based testing platforms, Docker and Kubernetes (advantageous) 
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work effectively across team
