About the role
In this role you will work closely with the WHS & Wellbeing Partner to coordinate and implement WHS activities across CSC by providing high level operational and administrative support. This includes supporting, maintaining and delivering: incident response; early intervention processes; communicable disease management practices and responses; WHS action plan, WHS databases; and Health and Wellbeing initiatives under SuperYou, CSC’s health and wellbeing strategy.
What You Will do In This Role
Key responsibilities include:
- Build capability by providing support and advice to leaders and employees on work, health, safety and rehabilitation procedures and wellbeing initiatives to promote a proactive safety and wellbeing culture at CSC.
- Assist in the consultation and risk management processes with the business units and the health and wellbeing network to mitigate psychosocial risk.
- Assist in developing and monitoring injury case management and rehabilitation plans for injured or ill employees.
- Promote and coordinate delivery of health and wellbeing initiatives and programs. (e.g. flu vaccination and health assessment programs, workplace inspections, ergonomic assessments etc.)
- Monitor and respond to incident notifications.
- Assist in the WHS internal audit program and coordinate the workplace inspection program.
Specific duties and deliverables may vary from time-to-time dependant on business needs and priorities. Key objectives and measurements will be captured in the Performance & Development planning cycle, established annually and adapted as needed.
What we’re looking for
- Cert IV in Training and Assessment or Cert IV on WHS
- At least 2-3 years’ experience working in a WHS or HR role
- High level administrative acumen with excellent attention to detail and high computer literacy
- Ability to plan and manage competing workloads
- Strong reporting skills
- Experience in organising events
- Demonstrated experience administering WHS systems
