Job Description

About the role

The Process Analyst and Technical Writer supports Customer Engagement Teams by identifying and documenting key business processes for Project Symphony and the Transformation Program, ensuring compliance with CPS230 and a smooth transition to the new Administration Platform.

This role involves analysing, creating new and reviewing current operational procedures, preparing them for publication in Confluence, and contributing to change management tasks such as quick reference guides and learning materials. Effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders are essential to produce high-quality documentation and support change initiatives for Project Symphony.

What you will be doing in this role

  • Work with the Organisational Change Manager, Business Transition Project Manager and business on Impact Assessments to inform Change and Communication Plans.
  • Produce high-quality deliverables including procedures, guides and Confluence content.
  • Assist with the gap analysis of all content on Confluence in relation to procedures
  • Assist in building a comprehensive matrix to identify what needs to be updated, combined, deleted and created
  • Create and deliver plan to uplift and deliver content
  • Support the review and refresh existing content
  • Create new content collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
  • Work with the Knowledge and Training teams to update the Knowledge Repository.

Specific duties, deliverables and reporting lines may vary from time-to-time dependant on business needs and priorities. Key objectives and measurements will be captured in the Performance & Development planning cycle, established annually and adapted as needed.

What we’re looking for

Qualifications

  • Relevant tertiary qualification (desirable)

  • Association of Superannuation Funds of Australia (ASFA) qualification or accreditation (desirable)

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in technical writing

  • Demonstrated ability to identify patterns, inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement within writing and documentation processes

  • Ability to translate complex technical information and jargon into clear, plain language

  • Proven ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to produce accurate, relevant and impactful content

  • Enthusiastic, adaptable and proactive, with a strong willingness to learn and take on new challenges

Desirable

  • Experience and knowledge of superannuation schemes and legislation

  • Understanding of change management frameworks and disciplines
