Job Description

About the role  

As the dedicated Training Knowledge Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing accurate and timely technical support for our staff, while contributing to their ongoing technical development through coaching and training initiatives.

You will be responsible for developing, scheduling and evaluating a range of formal technical training programs using contemporary methods. By working closely with subject matter experts and stakeholders, you will aim to understand and apply complex legislation and adjust training materials accordingly. Collaborating with the team and communicating clearly will help you in delivering complex training material in individual or group settings, fostering an inspiring learning environment.

To be successful in the role, you will regularly review training material and technical content to ensure its effectiveness and relevance. This will help identify opportunities to improve and enhance support offerings to CSC and continue our approach to continuous improvement.

What we’re looking for

  • Australian Citizen or Permanent Residency
  • Proven experience in developing and delivering technical training programs is essential
  • Experience in superannuation, particularly within accumulation funds, is highly desirable
  • Certificate IV in workplace training and assessment or ability to obtain this certification within 12 months, highly desired
  • Demonstrated experience in coaching, mentoring and providing feedback
  • A detail-oriented approach with the ability to review and improve training material consistently
  • Proactive mindset to identify opportunities for improvement in technical support offerings
  • Sound computer literacy, particularly in relation to Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience in developing content for e-learning modules and preparing content for various platforms
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
