Job Description

About the role

As a member of the Accounting Operations team, this role is responsible for delivering accounts and treasury functions to enable CSC's business outcomes. Key responsibilities include:

  • Accounts receivable - receipt cheques and direct credits received into CSC's accounts using the administration systems (ComSAS, Capital and Acurity) and the Financial Management Information System (FMIS) (Technology One);
  • Accounts payable - prepare and process departmental and administered payments including the creation of creditor charts in the FMIS;
  • Prepare and process invoices, contract claims and journals in the FMIS;
  • Daily drawdown procedures including preparing and entering into the Central Budget Management System (CBMS);
  • Daily and monthly financial reconciliations and reports;
  • Processing urgent/reissue of payments; and
  • Maintaining up-to-date procedures.

 

Specific duties, deliverables and reporting lines may vary from time to time dependant on business needs and priorities. Key objectives and measurements will be captured in the Performance & Development planning cycle, established annually and adapted as needed

Desired Skills and Experience

What we’re looking for

  • Excellent MS Excel and reporting skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of accounts and treasury processes
  • Experience with Financial Management Information Systems
  • Knowledge of CSC superannuation schemes
