Job Description

About the role

As a People Business Partner, you’ll play a key role in providing expert HR advice, guidance, and support to leaders and employees across all stages of the employee lifecycle at CSC. You’ll draw on your strong knowledge of employment legislation, HR policies, and people practices—including remuneration and benefits—to deliver practical, solutions-focused advice.

  • Interpret and advise managers and staff on employment legislation, workplace codes/practices, policies and CSC employment contract conditions to ensure compliance;
  • Build organisational capability through planning, problem solving, specialist HR guidance and advice, coaching and mentoring within designated business units on all employment related matters including performance management, grievances and disciplinary actions.
  • Assist to project manage, consolidate and embed People-related operational and strategic activities and projects for allocated Business Units;
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of a breadth of People initiatives including supporting policy and strategy development, workforce planning and annual performance and remuneration processes.
  • Provide advice and guidance on remuneration and benefits to support recruitment and selection decisions and the annual fixed remuneration review process.

  • Broad HR generalist experience (ideally 5+ years) across both operational and strategic areas
  • Experience supporting large-scale HR or broader organisational projects
  • A strong understanding of Australian employment and industrial relations frameworks, with the ability to coach leaders through complex people matters
  • Excellent communication, critical thinking, and influencing skills
  • Experience providing remuneration advice and supporting annual pay review cycles (knowledge of the Financial Institution Remuneration Group (FIRG) is a plus)
  • Experience in workplace investigations and report writing
