About the role

We’re seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Custody & Implementation team as an Analyst. In this role, you will play a key part in the implementation of investment decisions through the Treasury function.

An important aspect of this role is maintaining the internal control framework to promote accurate, complete and timely processing of Treasury activities and efficient implementation of investment decisions. You’ll be responsible for enhancing data quality and driving process automation across the team; managing day-to-day operational issues, monitoring key metrics, and supporting the development and reporting of insights through dashboards.

This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a broad range of investment services functions and contribute to a high-performing team.

Please note: during the training period, you will be required to work full-time from our office, located in the city.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementation of investment decisions through the Treasury function
  • Interface with team members and other internal CSC teams as required to manage expectations and delivery timeframes
  • Proactively identify and analyse relevant risks across the team and report on risk lists
  • Support other team projects as directed by the Senior Analyst/Manager
  • Work collegiately and effectively with all other Investment Operations team members to ensure that overall team priorities are addressedWhat we’re looking for  
  • Unrestricted working rights
  • Tertiary qualification in finance, economics and/or actuarial studies is highly desired
  • Proficiency in MS Excel is essential
  • Familiarity with data visualisation programs such as Power BI and Tableau and process automation applications such as Power Automate
  • Demonstrated organisational skills with a keen ability to meet deadlines
  • Analytical proficiency with attention to detail and a willingness to learn
  • Effective communication and presentation skills (written and verbal)
  • Competence in processing and reporting on numbers and data with high accuracy
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for building relationships across all levels
  • The ability to work independently and within a team, managing competing priorities
