About the role

The Change and Communication Project Officer plays an integral role within the Organisational Capability, Change and Communications team, supporting the successful delivery of organisational change, communication and capability building initiatives.

This role plays a key part in helping staff navigate change, stay informed and build the skills needed to thrive in a dynamic workforce.   

Desired Skills and Experience

What you will be doing in this role

  • Support the delivery of the intranet refresh project to ensure it meets the needs of staff and enhances internal communication and collaboration.
  • Support change initiative across the organisation by developing and executing change plans and helping teams transition smoothly through change.
  • Support the planning, development and delivery of internal communication activities to ensure timely, consistent and engaging messaging that keeps employees informed and connected to organisational initiatives.
  • Assist in the design, coordination and delivery of capability and learning initiatives that support staff development and enhance organisational effectiveness.

Specific duties, deliverables and reporting lines may vary from time to time depending on business needs and priorities. Key objectives and measurements will be captured in the Performance & Development planning cycle, established annually and adapted as needed.

 

What we’re looking for

  • 2+ years change management and/or adult learning experience
  • Change Management certification or Training and Assessment certification will be desirable
  • Financial, superannuation and/or public sector experience
  • Sound knowledge of change management frameworks and disciplines.
  • Office suite (PowerPoint, excel, etc), ASANA and CANVA (or the ability to acquire knowledge).
  • Experience in interpreting data to measure change effectiveness and reporting on data with actions for continuous improvement.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a focus on stakeholder communication and engagement.
  • Demonstrates strong verbal, written, and negotiation abilities to communicate with clarity and impact.
