Job Description

The Senior Salesforce Digital Marketing Specialist will lead and optimise Salesforce Marketing Cloud in conjunction with Salesforce CRM to conduct and build automated journeys, data management and campaign execution. 

In this hands-on, strategic role, you will lead the optimisation of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, working in tandem with Salesforce CRM to design, build and execute data-driven marketing journeys that improve engagement, acquisition and retention outcomes. 

You will play a key role in advancing the maturity of our direct email marketing, building scalable and automated solutions and ensuring our communications are timely, targeted and relevant to our customer cohorts. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Design and optimise automated customer journeys and campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) tools (eg Journey Builder, Email Studio) 

  • Develop segmentation and targeting strategies using data extensions and SQL queries 

  • Monitor platform performance and resolve SFMC issues to improve efficiency 

  • Analyse campaign data to generate insights, track performance and support ROI reporting 

  • Review and QA campaign assets for accuracy, compliance and brand alignment 

  • Coach and mentor team members on SFMC and automation best practices that leverage SFMC capabilities 

  • Stay current on marketing automation trends and innovations

What you need to excel: 

  • Full working rights in Australia  

  • Proven experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (including Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio and AMPscript) required 

  • Strong attention to detail ensuring accuracy and compliance 

  • Problem solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical and platform issues effective 

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with experience working in cross-functional teams and subject matter experts 

  • Exceptional organisational and project management skills 

  • A flexible, solution focused attitude and an ability to quickly learn new processes and technologies, and a willingness embrace change and continuous improvement
